Dear Sirs,
The remainder of the Covers for Dr. Deardon's car were despatched on Saturday and I trust you have received same by now and that they will prove a success.
With reference to the interview which the writer had with Captain Harkness, I should esteem it a favour if you would allow us to send you a model spring covered through out and if it appeals to you we would cover a set of your springs in this manner. This we have done for 2 other manufacturers of large cars and which has proved a success.
The writer will be in your district in the course of 2 weeks or just over and will call at your works and measure 2 of your running cars. A few days afterwards I would call on my return journey and assist your men in getting these on.
For these 2 sets we would allow you a discount of 33-1/3% off List prices.
We trust this will meet with your approval and that we shall receive an early reply. Assuring you of our prompt attention at all times.
Thanking you for the help which you gave me in fitting Dr. Deardon's car.
Yours very truly,
For WILCOT (PARENT) COMPANY, LTD.,
