8. N.S. rear spring - leaves 2, 5, after 14 hrs.
Better than B.II.

9. 2 - 5/16 bolts on N.S. torque arm socket after 37.30 hrs.
3/8" bolts are being used in future on the torque arm socket and we think these will be of adequate strength.

10. N.S. Damper casing burst after 38 hrs.
The second failure was due to a gudgeon pin and connecting rod breaking. On this particular damper the above two parts were Gordon Armstrong. These are weaker than our own connecting rod and pin and as we have had no such trouble with our dampers we consider an investigation into the cause of this breakage unnecessary.

11. O.S. Rear spring - leaves 4, 5 after 28.45 hours.
Better than B.II.

12. Bracket for fore and aft engine location bar cracked after 50 hrs.
This bracket is now obsolete.
