To R. {Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. to BJ. BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X4308 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/LG22.8.27. A.T. SPEEDOMETER. Further to our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T19.8.27. and with reference to R3/M19.8.27. In spite of the manufacturers having assured us that there is no change of reading of the eddy-current type speedometer with time due through loss of magnetism, we are arranging carefully to test the indication on an instrument of this type before and after a prolonged run on an experimental car.
