Test taken without the use of heat resistance washers. Working voltage during test 15.

Test repeated using the heat resisting washers.

0 - 30 | 4.74 | 170.5°C.
1 - 0 | 4.82 | 177°C.
1 - 15 | 4.91 | 184°C.
1 - 30 | 4.91 | 184°C.

Test repeated on another make of coil.

1 - 0 | | 106°C.
1 - 15 | | 106.5°C.
1 - 25 | | 106°C.

Crank-case temperature during test attained a maximum in 1 hr. 15 min., & at which time it was 79°C. Bm/RC.{R. Childs}
