TELEGRAM: BAILEY'S HOTEL, LONDON. TELEPHONE KENSINGTON OPPOSITE GLOUCESTER ROAD STATION ON "TUBE", DISTRICT & METROPOLITAN RYS. BAILEY'S HOTEL, LONDON, S.W.7. X8770 May 5th. 1925. GC To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, There have been no complaints to day with the exception of firing in the silencer. This appears to be worse on the Landaulet than on the other cars. I have not had an opportunity of trying it, as it has been out most of the day. We have this evening blanked up the boilers on this car; I am going out on it first thing to-morrow morning. One of the touring cars has left this evening for Manchester and the Provinces, will be away | ||
