Further to our letters of the 4th and 5th inst., in reply to yours of the 1st, we regret that the matter was not dealt with more expeditiously, owing to the absence of the writer. We should be obliged if you would let us know whether you are sending the car to us, and if possible, what day, so that we may make provision for fitting up the gauge. With regard to the extended reading, we could certainly make a gauge of this type for you, guarantee its results, and get an improved design for the bezel and face; the matter simply turns on the question of price. We could not supply you with this gauge at such an economical figure as the one for which we have made production provision for the various parts. As a rough estimate, we would suggest an increase of 10/- | ||
