Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} [crossed out] c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x3720 BY11/G.15.5.29. R.R.A.I. REPORTS GEARBOX ) - SECTION 6030. ------------------------ Referring to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}1/E29.4.29. we had not remarked upon this because it was mainly intended to be informative for R.{Sir Henry Royce} in regard to American practice. In the memo in question there was nothing put forward which demands any comment from Derby, unless you particularly wish to have our views in regard to the quietness of the various proposals. Personally I do not think you need worry yourself any further on this particular issue. We ourselves had filed it, treating it as being really informative and not therefore requiring a reply other than an acknowledgment and a letter of thanks for the information supplied. BY.{R.W.
