| -2- respects it falls short of the requirements of an ordinary intelligent individual. One important point, of course, is whether it has got proper springing, and whether the engine is the same size as the existing one, because I think that £37. 10/-. is quite enough - in fact, far too much - to pay for the privilege of owning a motor car. I spend most of my time now driving about in a 10 h.p. Talbot and an 8 h.p. Morris. With regard to lead coated sheets, I do not see that there should be any difficulty in producing these as thin as .022. We, however, do not make lead coated sheets, but I think you could probably get what you want from one or other of the following:- Shimwell & Co. Ltd., Wellington Rd., Leyton, London, E.10. Dafen Tinplate & Galvanizing Co., Ltd., Dafen, Llanelly. R.B. Byars & Co. Ltd., Port Talbot. Baldwins Ltd. The first firm on this list buys the steel sheets from us and lead coats them, so that if you bought from them you would be getting our steel. So far this Company has not taken anything lighter than 23 gauge from us, but I do not see why you should have any difficulty in getting the gauge you require. Yours, Richard. W.A.
