Confirming our telephone conversation on the subject, the personnel at the Clan Foundry are extremely anxious to purchase a piano for the canteen. At the present moment we have to borrow one from Derby every time we have a social evening. I have already got a subscription list of £10 and would like to know whether the Company would give us a grant so that we may get a reasonably good instrument.
