For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to Mr. West's telephone call on Saturday, re your esteemed order No. 96016 received by us on the 23rd ult., we would respectfully explain that this does not come under our promise of twelve hour Service for a change in r.p.m., because, in this case, we have to re-calibrate with new gearing and supply a special dial, as you ask for scale calibration to be 5% fast at. full scale.

However, we hope to have the dial in to-morrow and shall make every possible effort to despatch this instrument back to you on Wednesday, the 4th inst. certain.

Always at your service.

We beg to remain,
Yours faithfully,
For THE A.T. SPEEDOMETER CO. LTD.
