With regard to the thermostats, we are, at the present moment, using thermostats made by Smiths on both car and aero engines. The Aero department formerly used some made by Negretti & Zambra, which they say were certainly more accurate, on the other hand, Negretti & Zambra are only willing to make their standard size, for this reason the Aero people also now use Smiths. If, therefore, you can find a Negretti size which exactly suits your needs, this might suit your purpose better. I will give Mr. Robotham your letter when he returns.
