In the first instance low speed running on top gear was tried with the engine at moderate temp, and was found to be OK the engine firing regularly at 3 mph on B.I. The pick up was also tried and found to be OK. A certain amount of high speed running with the contact breaker gap set to .025" shewed misfiring at engine speeds above 2600 rpm. although at low speeds firing was very good.
