V open circuit test (15 min at 1500 rpm) Sparks jump from distributor wheel periphery to H.T. segments - safety gap seems too ~~small~~ large. VI Utility test (using Remy coil sec'y as leak) a. {Mr Adams} 12.0 m.m b. 6.6 m.m c. 2.5 m.m d. {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} 1.0 m.m } Max gap. (with chemical leak and annular gap) Annular gap will not spark at any speed with leak at 20°C. Magnets seems very unsatisfactory at overcoming leaky gaps. Signed contd.
