S/W. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Cr.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} W. La.{L. A. Archer} Limitation of Body Lengths. Your Ref.E.2/HP.11.2.35. The C.S.S.C. at their Meeting yesterday considered the contents of your memo and examined the print LeC.4337. It was agreed that it would be wrong to lay down a hard and fast rule and, in fact, impossible to do so but that exceptional cases will have to be considered on their merits. The notes you propose to add to the chassis prints were approved and we take it they will appear on all further prints sent to us for distribution to Coachbuilders. Hn.{F. C.
