27-EX. CAR.

Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E2.3.32.

We had arranged to get rid of 22-EX. car. We agree with your suggestion that it might be very much better to get rid of 27-EX. 22-EX. is an old car, and it would need a lot of money spent on it - the body is scrap, and therefore it could not be sold. 27-EX. car, however, is a good saleable car.

27-EX., when fitted with the standard gearbox will be quite an up-to-date 'N' Series car with diamond engine mounting etc. We would like just to run is round Brookland's before we get rid of it, but by the end of next week we could hand it over to the Repair Dept., for them to do their usual inspection before the car is sold.

Will you please confirm this.
