-2- In 2 weeks time I hope to have the results of the endurance test on your 2 dampers. If this is successful we should then like to try some on a car having :- (1) Aluminium casings. (2) Spring loaded valves. (3) Load increase due to displacement on the rebound side of normal position only. (4) Rod control for the rear dampers only. If we supplied you with the easiest aluminium for casting that we use (R.R. 50.A) , would you be able to produce die castings? The use of aluminium would save 1 1/2 lbs. in weight of the complete dampers. Thank you for lending your car to us which we can discuss further when I next visit you at Beverley for shock dampers.
