X3513 Extract from E4/G31.3.21. RE VISIT OF MESSRS HIVES & DAY ON 6-EX TO W.W. MARCH 12th, 1921. (5) 40/50 HP. MOULDED INSULATION. X.2434. X.800. X.3513. X.3724. (struck through) X.2738. X.3974. Mr. Royce suggests ordering the 40/50 HP. coil box from the States while we are waiting to start a supply in England. 40/50 H.P. distributor cover and other moulded parts Mr. Royce thinks could be made in black bakelite, but the cover should be altered from a flat to a spherical design with moulded bosses before making dies, so that if is possible for water to accumulate and cause shorting. Mr. Royce wishes to know where we are trying to get porcelain insulation from, and stated that Bullers and Doultons were the well known firms for this class of work, also French manufacturers of cooking utensils, as suggested in another memo. | ||
