EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FWK.11/JH. 13th. March, 1939.

The English Steel Corporation,
Vickers Works,
SHEFFIELD.

For the attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Webster.

Dear Sirs,

We are in urgent need of two pairs of coil springs, similar in external dimensions to FW.1910/1 prints of which you already have. The poundage now-ever has been reduced to 850 lb.

These springs have not yet been detailed and therefore no prints are yet available. However we are sending you a table (enclosed) giving all dimensions etc., and we trust the data contained therein will be all you require. As soon as we receive prints we will send you a copy.

In the meantime we would like you to make up two pairs of springs as quickly as you can.

Will you please advise us if you require any further information and also let us know when you expect to be able to deliver them.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
