| Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} +323 Sent to Kramer 24/6/36. HH E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.24.6.36. Chassis Costs - Exhaust System. We are handing you herewith some sample spherical pads E.60223/4, manufactured by the Gandy Belt Manufacturing Co. These have been obtained as an alternative to the Ferobestos pieces used at the moment on the exhaust suspension. The Ferodo parts cost 7½d each, whereas the Gandy Belt pieces cost only 3½d each. We think it is worth while trying these pieces out on the next 10,000 mile Bentley, or Phantom III chassis. E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1 | ||
