| BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X 206 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M20.5.33. C. to WGR. ET HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BENSFORT BRAKE LINKAGE. With further reference to the screw adjusters shewn on N. sch. 3736. it appears that it will be necessary to provide stops for the levers on both hand and foot brakes linkages, on the differential shafts. The adjusters then pull against the stops, tension up the cables and overcome the pull off springs. Herewith we send N. sch. 3740. shewing a suggestion for providing such stops by putting bosses on the carrier bracket forgings. The stops seem strong enough to deal with any probable load.
