Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} S E C R E T. R4/M29.2.24. EAC. II. AND IV. X.9770 Since there is reason that EAC.2. may be in production for some time, does it not appear more satisfactory to pass over EAC.4. and go on to EAC.5. There are several reasons for this, and in the long run it will be simpler for spares as well as quicker way of getting EAC.5. The technical advantages of EAC.5. have been discussed many times, and are points which are serious enough in a large, heavy, high speed car especially, and should give us points over Hispano.
