NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE ELDON STREET, BARRAS BRIDGE. Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. For the attention of Dr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll. Smith. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 8th of May advising us of the correct dimensions of the three clutch facings. We require these to put in hand formers and vulcanizing dies for the new type facing that we are to make for you experimentally. This type is to be known as S.6777 and should be referred to in correspondence as such. Confirming our telephone conversation this morning we feel it would be advisable to produce the dies to mould the rivet holes. Accordingly you will let us have either direct or from Borg and Beck the rivetting detail to enable us to design the dies. Yours faithfully, FERODO LIMITED [Signature] Chief Chemist and Director. | ||
