A.{Mr Adams} FROM HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} ORIGINAL EHY/AL.18.3.32. C. to SC., WH., Br-Exs HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BENSPORT GEARBOX. X 40576 We send herewith S. scns. 7519/20/21/22., which show most of the Bensport gearbox. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} sch. 7519. has not been appreciably altered since a print was sent to Derby last Saturday. It will be seen that there is no spigot between the halves of the box, and that their alignment is entirely dependent on two taper bolts. Our other synchro mesh boxes have spigots, but examination will show that they are just as much dependent on the soundness of the 'dowelling' as is the new box for the Bensport. EHY. | ||
