Hancock - Head Chateauroux}12/AP.21.5.37 Re. Palmetto Water Gland Packing. This packing has been tried on 6.B.1V. At no time during the 15,000 miles as there been any water leaks. Examination of the glands shows them to be in a good condition. The rotor spindle is in my opinion less grooved than has been the case with our standard asbestos packing. Is it possible to standardise this packing.? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
