To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ruffy/H.H. 342 Cricklewood Nov 26th 36 Phantom III We have had a Ph III in with the 2BA bolts holding the top strap of the rear damper connecting link broken. There was no evidence that the bolt had been slack which we believe is the cause of them breaking. This was a serious trouble on Ph II until the bolts were stiffened up. J.H.H. LES.{Ivan A. Leslie} Are these the same as the strengthened PIII? Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} R.{Sir Henry Royce} will design. again & p. | ||
