Contd. -3- EFC5/T1.9.27. The wire is of pure nickel as in the standard case. The gauge is 33 SWG, as compared with 31 SWG. standard. The new length is 39" as compared with 25" standard. The cold resistance is approximately double. There are more turns in the coil proportionately to the extra length. The mechanical reliability would appear to be of the same order as standard.
