Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 6/H14.7.23. The result of our preliminary tests on these three coils is as follows :- Coil No. 2960. So far there does not appear to be anything whatever wrong with this coil. Coil No. 2963. There is a definite break in the primary winding of this coil. Coil No. 3009. A large portion of the primary winding of this coil appears to be subject to an intermittent short circuit. The coil behaved alright at first then suddenly failed. It will be noted that these tests are only of a preliminary nature with the coils in the cold condition, and that further investigations are being made. EFC. {E.
