NATIONAL ACCUMULATOR COMPANY LIMITED. TELEPHONE: SLOANE 6368. TELEGRAMS: NATIONACCU, SOWEST, LONDON. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: 50, GROSVENOR GARDENS, LONDON, S. W. I. WST 1st September, 1932. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, In reply to yours of the 27th August, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/AD, neither the 7-plate elements nor any of the other alternatives referred to in our letter of the 26th would entail any tool or die alterations or new moulds to be made as they are all standard parts with us. We hope you are not seriously considering the thick 7-plate battery because as we said in our previous letter, this would not be good enough to start a high compression sports engine from cold and we hope that you will decide on one of the others, that is to say if you do not propose to use the 6.GLD-11 which we thought seemed to be your previous choice. Yours faithfully, NATIONAL ACCUMULATOR COMPANY LIMITED. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} N. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Minchin. RECEIVED 1932 SEP 2 G.H.W. | ||
