| X-258 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to WOT. c. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} c. to Cy. c. to Biy. c. to Sr. Bentley Paris Trials Car. I have now received from Sr. a complete weight analysis of the Bentley Paris Trials car, and I believe you have a copy of the same figures. I find that I maligned the body in saying it was a 2-door Saloon, as it has 4 doors and is perfectly normal in seating capacity. The two features where it differs from the Vanvooren which we have here and which you have tried are that there is no sunshine roof, and the rear window lifters are dispensed with. Owing to the wheel arches in any case the rear windows only open a few inches. This car appears to us to be an excellent example of the results which can be achieved by a meticulous analysis of weights. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
