and all gears appeard to be in almost 100% condition. We have also modified the clutch as per Depot Sheet No. 140 No trouble has been experienced to date, but the clutch liners were beginning to separate and probably would have fouled the fly-wheel before very long. It is particularly gratifying to know that every part of Rolls-Royce manufacture has been most satis-factory and no trouble at all has ever been experienced with this car which is in splendid demonstration form.

The only feature which is part of the standard equipment which has been a continual source of trouble is the K.S. Telegauge. We have on several occasions blown this out most carefully according to instructions, and it will sometimes work for a time but never for long. The same applies to most of the other Phantom II and 20/25 HP in India. I would be interested to know if much trouble has been experienced with this gauge at Home. I am afraid my own experience is that they are most erratic. No doubt Hd. {Mr Hayward / Mr Huddy} /MCL. will note for record purposes that the cylinder head tubes have been changed and the clutch attended to.
