"SS{S. Smith}" STEERING. PENDULUM LEVER. X7430 X7420

We send herewith N. sch. 2600. shewing the
new design of damped pendulum lever with leaf springs.

The leaf springs should be arranged withthe least
amount of set-up load possible, so as to make the movement
of the lever in the central position as free as possible.

It is intended to remove a good deal of the
friction off the front axle when this scheme is tried, and
we shall send you instructions in due course.
