Dear Robotham, RE: MY BENTLEY B 34 AW. When I was at Derby you very kindly gave me some distance pieces to strengthen the front springing on my car. I feel that the front springing is quite satisfactory but the rear springing is, truthfully, far too soft; passengers in the back seat complain of sickness. Can you make any suggestion which I can convey to Willesden to strengthen the back springing? Could I have a heavier, or an additional, leaf fitted. I am sending the car into them on the 3rd February for a top decarbonisation, and if it is possible, for them to rectify the second gear. If you are unable to have this stronger leaf made up for me, could you suggest anyone who would be capable of carrying out such work to your satisfaction. The mileage now covered is 11,000. continued | ||
