Dear Rothes,

Thank you for your letter of the 12th September,

If you would like to come to Derby, Friday of next week will be O.K. for me. Actually by then we shall not of course have had a chance of trying the qualities of the improved tread tyres, and there is not very much to discuss about the others, but you probably have some service records which might interest us. Anyhow, if you consider it worth your while to come to the factory, we shall be very glad to see you.
