W/N - Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} x506 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}7/KW.25.3.36. Tipping Shoes on 20/25 HP. Brakes. We have heard that in some cases of complaints of brakes squeaking the tipping shoe is found to be distorted so that there is no clearance between it and the main shoe, and it can no longer work. The next time you meet a case of this sort we should be much obliged if you would remove a pair of shoes complete from one carrier plate without altering the setting of the tipping shoe, give the customer new shoes which can be changed to Order No. 54305, and send the faulty set to us for examination.
