The Heating of Floor boards.
With reference to the heating of the front floorboards, with high side doors and covered dash (so-called torpedo), I think coconut matting to the floors is quite a practical arrangement.
I am afraid that the three-ply boards with air spaces between them would not be very feasible to fit to the cars.
One of our customers was so pleased with the flat tube type radiator that after it began to leak he still worried for one of this type. We are, therefore, trying to make this stand the vibration of the car which I feared might be a source of trouble. This will be one spoke in the wheel towards reducing the trouble.
I anticipate that the new engine will not heat so much water, and, therefore, if we keep the air going through, the same quantity will not heat the air to so high a temperature.

See that cocoa nut mats are fitted by all coach builders on RR Cars
How can we get this done?
