3rd July, 1936.

Messrs. A.T. Speedometer Co.Ltd.,
Chronos Works,
North Circular Road,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. H.R. Buckland.

Dear Sirs,

We confirm the visit of your Mr. A.{Mr Adams} F.{Mr Friese} Arrowsmith to our Works yesterday, when we shewed him a sample speedometer drive removed from an American Packard car.

It is agreed that you will make us up for test a sample drive as nearly as possibly identical with the one examined, as we want to test it out for quietness and reliability.

We feel that the lighter the drive is the more quiet and reliable it will be in service.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
