Arrangements for three Goshawk-II chassis bodies for the 10,000 miles trials.

BODIES FOR GOSHAWK 10,000 MILES TRIALS' CARS. X.4086 X.3730 The first car 5-Goshawk-II fitted with a Mulliner all-weather body, is now complete and is leaving for France. The second chassis 6-Goshawk-II, we hope to delivery Wednesday or Thursday this week to Messrs. Mulliner, Chiswick, for the fixing of the open-body and it is essential that the car should be complete and ready for returning to the works in now more than a weeks' time from the time it is received by them. Please note, this chassis will be fitted with Michelin disc wheels. The third chassis is 7-Goshawk-II which we hope will be ready for delivery to Messrs. Maythorn, Biggleswade at the end of this month and we take it that this chassis will not be required by the Coachbuilders for more than 7 days. This car will be fitted with R-W wire wheels. Please let me know whether these proposed arrangements could be carried out and whether, if possible, in less time than stated above. We understand that arrangements have been made for the spare wheel carriers and luggage grids to be fixed up by the Coachbuilders, on these cars. 6-Goshawk-II will be fitted up with the instrument board complete with supports as already instructed by R.{Sir Henry Royce} We are anxious that the body work should be fitted to suit this.
