767B To HK.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} - Paris. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG11.9.25. 10,000 MILES TESTS IN FRANCE. X8940 We shall shortly be sending another Phantom car to France for a 10,000 miles test. Since we have been using the British registration numbers on the cars and the GB. plate, the car has been stopped several times on the road in France and the papers examined. The fact that we remain in the same district and use practically the same roads daily, draws attention to the fact that the car can hardly be touring. When we were using French numbers, much less notice was taken of the car. We should like to have your views in this matter. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
