Lucas Dynamo Mounting B.80 Engine.

We attach herewith 2 copies of PL.115 showing the Lucas dynamo model C.45.PV. type L.11 mounted on the B.80 engine.

The machine and pulley are the same as on PL.104.

We would recall that Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} was doubtful as to whether the output of this machine is adequate and suggests that on the Silver Phantom and Silver Wraith we may be forced to fit 5" machines if there are any.

We suggest that there is no need to go to the expense of fitting the Lucas machine to the B.60 and B.80 engine to discover whether the maximum output of 16 amps. is satisfactory.

Our past experience ought to be able to tell us this.

Attached 2 prints of PL.115.
