X1235 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/KW. 31st July, 1936. Messrs. Paddon Brothers Ltd., 60, Cheval Place, Brompton Road, London, S.W.7. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of July 29th, actually we have not had occasion to use Colloidal Graphite, either experimentally or in production. You will appreciate that whilst we might not find Colloidal Graphite any good, in the case of manufacturers who cannot afford to run their cars in fully in the factory, this additional lubricant might be of some service. Personally, even under these conditions we are not very enthusiastic about it. We are sorry we can give you no more information, but our experience is almost negligible. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
