(23) EXHAUST SYSTEM & FITTINGS.

We have released the suspension to Lec.5752 and expansion chambers to LOP. E.W.1046 for the first 6 cars.

We are experimenting with lighter gauge material before we release 100 sets.

(24) REAR ENGINE SUSPENSION.

We have already got the rear engine suspension.

(25) GEARBOX.

We can release 100 sets of castings to G.C.D.113, and 100 sets of 'Innards' modified as per Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/BA.4.10.37.

(26) CHANGE SPEED MECHANISM.

We have got to revert to the double Universal Scheme but as its exact form depends on the final engine mounting, we cannot release more than six sets.

(27) SERVO.

We can release 100 sets as per Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/BA.4.10.37.

(28) ENGINE UNIT.

We have instructed 6 sets of Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/BA.4.10.37.

Apart from the crankcase which we have never yet run, and the rear main bearing around which experiments are being made for oil leaks and the exhaust valves, we think it would be save to go ahead with 100 sets of engine parts. It would be unwise to make 100 sets of engine gears until the best cam wheel material at the right price and the best tooth form has been established by the Works.

(29) ELECTRICAL.

Six sets have been released as per the 10,000 miles car. We can undoubtedly release production quantities if there is any real need for this.
