Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of 14th. inst., we do not understand your statement that you have been unable to send us a water pump spindle as promised, since we have received such a spindle, with the end of same ground and a letter 'C' etched on it. We concluded this was the sample of the latest type spindle and have accordingly fitted it in a pump - will you please let us know how or why we were sent this bearing and whether it is up to date or not.
