All going well at Le-Canadel, I4-EX continues to give every satisfaction.
We have altered our ignitions to 8° BTDC. fully advance position on the quadrant, this greatly improves the engine for detonations, and is smoother for same.
We have not experienced any trouble with engine feet, and our clearance at the clutch coupling remains settled, as after the first 1100 miles.
Magneto(M&B) is very noisy, this has become gradually worse since leaving Derby.
Brakes are very good, front squeak when first applied, no adjustment has been necessary to either foot or hand brake.
We find that the most comfortable riding over these rough roads is obtained with the tyre pressures at 30.lbs sq inch
Steering is very good at this, and is not in any way effected.
Total-Mileage----4,587.
