Explosions in Silencer, BJ7/E20/10/26 I was glad to have an opportunity of trying the two cars at Derby yesterday, one of which was a sample of our present standard Phantom, which has bad explosions in the silencer, and the other an example of your experimental car in which there is a special ball bearing in the throttle which prevents explosions and on which we could obtain very few explosions. I understand that you can arrange to fit this ball bearing in cases of complaints and that you will fit it to the first car we tried to see whether it overcomes the explosions. If this is successful, mks please kindly ascertain how soon we could make it standard, as this is extremely important. BJ. | ||
