Rigby} will arrange to have alternative linings available with better heat factors, to be used on 4.B.50, if we again run into trouble with linings overheating. On Norway. (handwritten) 2. SPRINGS AND GAITERS. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham} will find out whether Rubery Owens are going to deliver his spring covers or not. To be delivered (handwritten) 3. STEERING (3-B-50) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} will have a look in the Stores and see if he can find those pivots with reduced outer centre points. These should be tried out. Reply to this before end of week (handwritten) The opinion was expressed that the original levers, now fitted to 7-B-V, and the lorry, were less susceptible to road reactions than the present schemes. At a later date, some comparisons will be made to check up on this fact, but not until the weather improves. 4. SUNSHINE ROOFS. A report will be circulated by the next Meeting, by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. comparing the different types of sunshine roof at present being marketed. 5. RAMP. This is now installed and waiting for the electricians. | ||
