X300a (v) Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}10/KW.2.10.35. Phantom III - 31-EX. We have found that when a fast getaway from rest, using the second gear, is attempted, the wind up of the rear axle and the twist of the road spring allows the axle to foul the steel straps holding the rebound buffer. The chassis bijur pipe also fouls and will be flattened out at this point. A further .250 clearance is needed to ensure the axle not fouling. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
