Re Prestone Anti-Freeze Mixture.

This was found to be suitable for use in radiator systems to prevent freezing. It appears to be practically pure Ethylene Glycol, containing approximately 2% or 3% of water. The analytical results are as follows:-

The substance was neutral in reaction, and contained no dissolved salts.

Boiling Point 175° C rising to 193° C
Freezing Point of 25% Solution well below 0° F
Specific Gravity 1.11 at 15° C (Undiluted)
