in the tinning with the result that localised corrosion might be set up; the scheme, however, is worth trying out.

We suggested the use of tinned radiator tubes some four years ago in connection with a customer who had his radiator completely spoilt due to using local water. We recommended at the same time as we sent the second radiator with tubes tinned all over that the customer should use rain water, and it was this last suggestion in our opinion rather than the tinning which eliminated the trouble.
