-28°F Starting current -- 1160 Volts -- 13 Engine speed -- 15 " Torque -- 935 lb. ft. BHP -- 2.7 Eff -- 13% 20.2 Diluted with fuel oil DR36A. (25%). -30°F Starter current -- 590 Starter Volts -- 16 Engine speed -- 80 RPM. " Torque -- 495 lb ft. BHP -- 7.5 Eff -- 59 % 12.7 Without dilution we can go down to 0°F.{Mr Friese} with dilution (25%) we can go down to -30°F with the existing starter. If we could incorporate a 16:1 gearing we could just about start at -30°F without dilution. 1200 / 1.6 = 750 amps 900 / 1.6 = 562 RPM. with warm battery. Torque = 570 x 2 = 1140. lb ft. | ||
