Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., 14/15, Conduit Street, London, W. 1. 18th October, 1921. Messrs. The Standard Tyre & Rubber Mfrs Ltd., Alperton, Wembley, Middlesex. Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter, reference FDS/AP of the 17th instant. We have made arrangements for the supply of Tyres for our chassis during the forthcoming season, but we should be quite prepared to try a set of the Cable Cords referred to by you. It would, however, be necessary for you to make arrangements direct with our Works at Derby for any tests, and we could not in any case make arrangements for purchase until we had obtained the results. If you would like us to make a test with a set of the Tyres in question perhaps you will kindly communicate direct with Derby. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
